The Boars Head Hotel

The Boars Head is short distance from the 3 Peaks of Pen-y-Gent, Ingleborough, and Whernside. The pleasant villages of Malham (famous for it's cove and limestone pavement), Clapham (gateway to Ingleborough) and Horton-in-Ribblesdale (popular start point for the Three Peaks Walk) are all within driving distance.

The Boars Head is a small family run hotel/pub in the Yorkshire Dales in a convenient location in North Yorkshire.

This beautiful old character building in picturesque Long Preston offers good food, a fine choice of beverages and high quality accommodation within a short drive of the market towns of Skipton and Settle in the Yorkshire Dales.

The pub has been newly refurbished, but the welcoming open fire and old beamed ceilings retain the traditional character of the building.

On offer in our pub restaurant is a large range of excellent, traditional home cooked Yorkshire food as well as more unique dishes. Tables can be reserved. Meal times can be flexible to suit your needs if specified at the time of booking.

We have a wide range of drinks available, 3 cask ales including Bombardier, 4 lagers including Stella, spirits, cocktails and a selection of fine wines.

On sunnier days, relax in our beer garden, with a cold refreshing beer, whilst taking in some of that glorious English sun!.

We also have a childrens play area to keep the children entertained whilst you relax.

Around this area is some of the most beautiful Yorkshire Dales countryside, especially attractive to walkers and lovers of the outdoors.
